Yesterday, Ambassador David Jacobson paid a visit to Sam Bat, a Carleton Place, Ontario-based company that has manufactured baseball bats for the likes of Barry Bonds, Roberto Alomar, Ryan Braun and numerous other Major League Baseball stars.

19 July 2010: Ambassador Jacobson Tours Southern Alberta
Ambassador David Jacobson, accompanied by Consul General Laura Lochman, made his first tour to southern Alberta. The Ambassador stopped in the city of Lethbridge where he met with local government officials and members of the business, arts and academic communities during a lunch at the Galt Museum. He then travelled to Magrath where he toured a wind power project jointly owned by Suncor and Enbridge.
