18 June 2012: U.S. Commercial Service Helps U.S. Companies at 2012 Global Petroleum Show
Consul General Laura Lochman and Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin cut the ribbon to officially open the U.S. pavilion at the Global Petroleum Show.
Over 300 U.S. companies participated in the 2012 Global Petroleum Show in Calgary June 12, 13, and 14, seventy-five of them as part of the U.S. Pavillion organized by the U.S. Commercial Service.
The show, held at the Calgary Stampede grounds, boasted 2,000 exhibitors and nearly 60,000 visitors. The show was an opportunity for businesses in the energy and petroleum-related industry to promote their goods and services, build partnerships and establish contacts in their field. The U.S. Commercial Service helped U.S. companies in the pavilion to connect to Canadian companies looking for suppliers.
